Here you will find the most important dates for the student elections. Bear in mind that the dates may change later.

14th of March

Election announced

The election is announced on the 14th of March. This is the time of which all the dates must be ready and the election board should have been elected. This is a consequence of the election regulations.

7th - 18th of March

Nomination period

Candidates can run in this time period

28th of March 09:00 PM

Candidates for the board announced

Candidates will be announced, which also marks the start of the elections. The election quiz-machine is also made public so that you can find who you most associate with.

14th -25th of March

Nomination period for the student councils

This is the time when you can run for the student councils. You can read more about their elections on their own websites.

28th of March 09:00 AM

Election opens

You can vote and candidates for the student councils are announced.

29th of March

Debate between candidates

Board candidates meet to debate what they mean is most important for NTNU to prioritize. This is a chance to ask questions for the candidates.

31th of March

Election day

This is the day when all students at NTNU vote for who they think should represent them in the NTNU board, as well as for the student councils.

31th of March 11:59 PM

Election closes

1st of April

Results are published

There will be a press conference to tell who are the new board members of NTNU.
