Candidate for the student parliament

Sindre Vie Jørgensen

Age: 23 years old
Campus: Trondheim
Study programme: MTFYMA
Dare to stand up for my opinions in debate, I am solution-oriented and I have experience that can help in the position.

Priority cause: Responsible implementation of the campus project, the development should not be at the expense of today’s students.
My name is Sindre, I am 23 years old, studying MTFYMA and have studied in Trondheim for a little over 4 years now.

During Covid in 2021, I was a faculty student representative for the faculty of natural sciences. I found the work very rewarding and important. I learned a lot from how NTNU and the faculty work behind the scenes, what problems that exist, and have since become more interested in student politics. I therefore ran for Student Parliament in the supplementary election in the start of this semester and have been an active participant this autumn.
I dare to stand for my own opinions in discussions and debates and do my best to see matters from as many perspectives as possible.

Some of the things I am most interested in improving are the psychosocial learning environment, good academic quality at NTNU and that the campus project should be carried out in a responsible way that does not come at the expense of today’s students.
There are still many things that can be improved, and I feel I have a lot more to contribute, which is why I am running for re-election.
