Candidate text:

Hei, my name is Sofie. I am a girl from Oslo. I love being social, being part of the voluntary work for students and a good party.

I love the open environment in Trondheim, because of the enthusiasm for voluntary work, among other things. This is one the things that makes Trondheim one of the best cities to be a student. As previous experience I have been in charge of “fadderukene” for MF Placebo, which is the voluntary organization at the medical studies in Trondheim. I am currently the leader of this organization, but will resign from this position in January as somebody new will be elected. Therefore, I would like to make an impact on the life of the students in Trondheim through velferdstinget. This will allow me to be a part of these decisions on a higher level. There are many things about the organization of the students and their voluntary work today, but there are also a lot of things that could improve.

I think the organization and communication between the different campuses, the communication to the students at NTNU and the collaboration between the organisations and the faculties could improve.

I am very motivated to put in a lot of effort to improve and shape the environment for the students in Trondheim. I am also willing to learn and I hope to be challenged in this new position. I like to say that actions speak louder than words, and can therefore only make a promise to give it my all if I were to be elected.

I hope this gave a good overview of me as a person, and I hope that you will vote for me!
